We are looking for someone to work as a security guard/detention guard in Skellefteå. As an appointed detention guard, you will primarily work in the detention center together with colleagues, managing the operations of the detention center and performing surveillance and oversight of detainees. Securus's assignments also include, when necessary, monitoring temporary objects that arise in connection with suspected crimes and carrying out transports related to the operations in the detention center. To ensure you have the right conditions to succeed in the role, we work closely with the relevant authority to provide you with the training and guidance needed.

We are looking for both those who want to work part-time and those who want to work during the summer. The detention center is staffed by Securus personnel during nights and weekends. At other times, the detention center is staffed by the authority's personnel. Since we are responsible for staffing several detention centers in Sweden, there is an opportunity for those who wish to travel to also work temporarily in other locations than their primary workplace.

Qualifications for the position

We are looking for someone who is a security guard. Since Securus is a security-classified company that primarily works with public authorities, a security screening with a background check will be conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

The position requires Swedish citizenship and fluent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. The role may involve sharing and conveying necessary information during the authority's handling of detained individuals. You also need to be able to speak and understand English.

It is advantageous if you are a trained security guard or detention guard and have experience working in a detention center or similar operations.
